Radeon HD 4850 video cards with alternative designs are quite sufficient, the same cannot be said about the radeon HD 4870. Today we will talk about the alternative version radeon HD 4870 from Asus, with glaciator cooler.
The Printed-circuit board (PCB) has a red color, and the power system is built according to 4 + 2 phase instead of 3 + 2 phases on standard radeon HD 4870. All utilized capacitors have solid-state electrolyte.  Power elements have their own radiator . It is known that power system cooling - in one of the main points on radeon HD 4870 video card.  The video card is supplied with two six-pin power connector.  Default frequencies are equal to 750/3600 MHz, the video card uses 512 mb GDDR- 5 memory from qimonda production , capable of working at 4.0 GHz DDR frequencies .
