In the middle of summer NVIDIA acknowledged that a part of mobile video chip was released with some materials potentially leading to the formation of defects under specific conditions . In order to replace the defective products NVIDIA decided to isolate about $200 mln. Active journalists extended information about the possibility of notorious defects appearance in desktop NVIDIA video chip, including the newest 55 nm products. Yesterday, one men which is interested in NVIDIA shareholders , gave a judicial action, which calls this producer to the responsibility for hiding important information . Plaintiff considers that NVIDIA hided the problems about the existence of defective video chip in the period from November 2007 to the beginning of July 2008, and investors as a result acquired NVIDIA actions on the overstated cost.
