Associate reported that in the middle of October , NVIDIA will release a new graphical solutions, the first part will be based on the renamed old video card. Associate hope for the fast appearance of video cards on base of GT206 chip , which is the 55 nm GT200 successor . It was considered that GT206 will become the base for GTX 260 successor . Associate note that GT206 will be used as minimum in two video cards models  : 270  and  290 . If GeForce GTX 270 will become replacement for GeForce GTX 260, then GeForce GTX 290 will come as change for the GeForce GTX 280. The frequencies relative to the 65 nm  versions are high, but primary NVIDIA task is to reduce the production prime cost and to reduce the energy consumption level a little . The produced on 55 nm technology GT206 chip  will have a core area of approximately 460 sq. mm, whereas 65 nm chip GT200 has a area of 576 sq. mm. reduction in the energy consumption will be measured by 10-15%, and NVIDIA completely can use this reserve for a certain increase in the clock frequencies. However,  the main task of GT206 chip is to reduce the prime cost of NVIDIA video cards  production. With some successful circumstances on base of GT206 can be created th etwo-chip video card. 	The 270 is already released this is the GTX 260 with more stream processor while the GTX 290 will be the GTX 280 produced in the new technical process,
