We already reported yesterday that many reviewers of radeon HD 4830 standard designs obtained only the 560 stream processors model instead of 640 pieces. And now some reviewers obtained the correct radeon HD 4830 from AMD partners with by valuable 640 stream processors, and now we can estimate the real speed value of those cards .
AMD recognize that a certain part of radeon HD 4830 models was supplied with defective BIOS version , which blocks some stream processors. In order to activate the necessary quantity of processors (in this case - 640 pieces), it is sufficient to update the BIOS . Now with 640 stream processors the card was by 14% faster in games. The performance of this card now can pass the GeForce 9800 GT level, where earlier it was slower. I | ||
