Usually the processor layout elements changes with the passage to new stepping, and for overclock amateurs this is a good visual sign for suitable processor selection . However, sometimes the processor packing changes the exterior view without stepping change . For example , Intel company extended a document, which describe changes in the packing of 45 nm processors with the small cache volume without passage on new stepping. In two different packing's will be supplied the processors core 2 Duo e7200 (2.53 GHz) and Core 2 Duo e5200 (2.5 GHz), based on M0 stepping . Processors in different packing's possess identical functional properties.
The four core processor core 2 Quad q8200 (2.33 GHz) will be also supplied in two different performances:
Belonging with M1 stepping in this case will be preserved for both packing versions . The deliveries of processors in the new packing will be achieved in parallel with the deliveries of old packing . Related Products : | ||
