For some reasons AMD company decided to hide from public some facts about the overclock of phenom II X4 to the frequency 6.3 GHz . Intel company declared, that AMD used the specially prepared processors. However, AMD insists that the processors were not specially selected. Recently appeared the photographs with report about the overclock of phenom II X4 under liquid nitrogen . Associate asserts that at 6.2 GHz frequency ,  the processor phenom II X4 was capable to several times run the crysis benchmark . Using single-stage ( at the temperature - 40 degree Celsius ) this processor was overclocked to 4.4 GHz (CPU-z validation passed).
