EVGA Company became one of the first NVIDIA partners , who began the sales of GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 video card on base of 55 NM chip. Two models were already noted in the popular American Internet- store. Yesterday on EVGA site appeared an official press release, which notifies about the release of the third  models GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 on base of the new 55 NM chip. Besides :  896- P E-1255- AR and 896- P E-1257- AR with 576/1242/1998 MHz and 626/1350/2106 MHz frequencies, the company presented the fastest video card on 55 NM chip with 216 active stream processors: : 896- P E-1258- AR ,  675/1458/2304 MHz frequencies and the suffix SSC. The video card is similar to the two other : In Internet- store , EVGA proposed this card for  $289. Associates note that this card has about the same performance as the GeForce GTX 280 .
