Yesterday Kinc reported about reaching the result of 90 702 "marks" in 3DMark 2001 SE. System- record holder was based on the motherboard Asus P5B Deluxe (P965), processor Core 2 Extreme X6800 (2.93 GHz) stepping B2 was overclocked to 5104 MHz at a temperature of -130 degree Celsiuss. Memory Corsair of type Ddr2-800 worked synchronously with the system bus with using the timing value of 3-3-3-12 and 2.85 V voltage. And finaly, video card Radeon X1950 XTX PowerColor production was overclocked to the frequencies of 882/2286 MHz.
The author notes that drivers used has many errors, and also that the cpu is capable of higher frequency but Kinc just runned out of liquid nitrogen. However, at the frequency of 5204-5233 MHz this processor was completely capable to passe 3DMark benchmark series ; therefore new records will be soon established.
To the release of GeForce 8800 GTX records in tests Futuremark will be updated and precisely using the Radeon X1950 XTX and CrossFire technologies , or with the "illegal" SLI "using moded driver" on Intel chipset. Related Products :
