Accelero extreme, was for the first time shown on CeBIT-2007 exhibition. This cooler , which is developed specially for the hottest 3d- accelerators, and completely covers the printed-circuit board , was successfully adapted for different cards.
Three fans with 80 mm diameter (or 92 mm depending on version), 107 cooling fins, 5 heat pipes and the uses of copper allow Accelero extreme to effectively remove heat from video card on base of G80 and R600 chips, and now the same construction was adapted for the new fast cards : new Accelero XTREME GTX 280 can be used with the video processors NVIDIA series GeForce GTX 260, GTX 280 and GTX 285.
The new solution is capable to remove heat up to 250 W, equipped with very quiet fans (PWM, rotation frequency from 1000 to 2000 RP/Min) .
The overall cooler sizes are equal to 287 x 104 x 54 mm, the weight is 680 gram. On sale this arctic cooling product will appear for $54,95. Related Products :
