Recently, associates reported that NVIDIA prepares to release the video card series GeForce 9600 GT green edition, which will work with the lower video chip voltage . This allows to decrease the energy consumption level and expenditures for electric power payment. Today appeared new information about the GeForce 9600 GT green edition video card, which must be represented soon. As it was promised, the core supply voltage is reduced from 1.1 to 1.0 in, and frequencies from 650/1625/1800 MHz to 600/1500/1800 MHz. This video card can use both the design from predecessors and their own. The additional power connector will not be required . The  energy consumption level must be lowered from 96 to 59 W. The announcement periods and the recommended cost for the GeForce 9600 GT green edition are not available currently. Related Products :

	I\'d be really interested if they appear also in a low-profile version! For now I\'m using a 9500GT on linux and everything is nice, but I would go for something that draws similar power while throwing more FPS on Doom3, Quake4, etc.
