At the end of January  Palit presented the video card GeForce GTX 260 Core 216, built on a printed-circuit board from its own development. The utilized cooling system also differed from the standard . The frequencies of this card were 625 MHz (core) and 2200 MHz DDR for the memory. Recently, Gainward presented its GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 Golden sample version , similar to Palit video card . The printed-circuit board, cooling system and even frequencies remained as in the Palit card. Let us recall, there are equal to 625/1400/2200 MHz (core/shader/memory). Furthermore, associate reports that Gainward will release one additional version GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 , with the frequencies 650/1400/2400 MHz . The recommended price  for this card is 250 euros.
