In the middle of January the Swiss company arctic cooling released the cooler accelero xtreme GTX 280, intended for video card cooling (GeForce GTX 260, GeForce GTX 280 and GeForce GTX 285). This allowed innoVISION company to present a new i -Chill video card GeForce GTX 260 with the suffix accelero XXX.
Producer asserts that new cooler reduces the video chip temperature by up to 20-30 degree celsius in comparison with the standard cooling system. The noise level was also significantly reduced. Five heat pipes pierce the 110 edges aluminum radiator; memory microcircuits , NVIO chip and power elements are supplied with their own radiators.   The new cooling system allowed Inno 3d to raise the video card frequencies from 576/1998 MHz to 620/2100 MHz. The memory capacity and bus remained as before : 896 MB and 448 bits respectively.
