The preparation of RV790 video chip for its April announcement is going at full speed. At least, in the list of compatible with PCI express 2.0 standard graphical solutions on PCI-SIG site we can already find references about the RV790 chip .
Certification to the compatibility with PCI express for the RV790 passed only yesterday, on 16 March, 2009. Simultaneously in the appropriate list appeared the 40 nm video chip RV740 in the mobile and professional versions.  RV740 chip for desktop video card will appear later ,According to some data, its announcement will take place in the second week of April (or later). Related Products : | ||
