Yesterday, AMD and Nvidia officially presented the video cards GeForce GTX 275 and Radeon HD 4890. Initially, the announcement dates of these solutions differed. Associate (computerbase.de) was able to test both video cards . In the majority of cases, the GeForce GTX 275 was faster than the Radeon HD 4890, but the latter often took a symbolic revenge in the AA/AF regimes. Thus, the performance between the two video card is about equal . The simple temperature of the graphic processor GeForce GTX 275 was 43 degrees Celsius, and for the Radeon HD 4890 this value was 52 degrees Celsius. Under loads the situation radically changed :  the temperature of Radeon HD 4890 composed only 62 degrees Celsius, and here the GeForce GTX 275 reached 88 degrees Celsius. The noise level for both video card reach 47 DB, and under loads the noise from GeForce GTX 275 increases to only 49.5 dB, while the Radeon HD 4890 reaches 63 dB. Thus, the Radeon HD 4890 appears, in essence, the improved version Radeon HD 4870. The intensive power-supply system and optimized graphic processor, which reaches higher clock frequencies, and improved cooling systems, which uses three heat pipes instead of two- are the distinguishing features of this product. The GeForce GTX 275 is based on the new printed-circuit board version,  using power part with the cheaper transistors, which have worse EFFICIENCY; there is no video output S -Video; the cooling system algorithm  , which leads to the graphic processor temperature up to 88 degrees, does not clearly contribute in the overclock and stability's . There are 240 stream processors, in this case the GeForce GTX 275 was faster than the GTX 280 due to the clock frequencies in the majority of cases. Furthermore, the recommended cost for the GeForce GTX 275 will be $249, against $239  for the Radeon HD 4890. With some tuning both video card demonstrate a good overclocking potential. 	wow is that really a benchmark???, i saw in loads of other benchmarks that the 4890 crossfire owned the 295gtx, If you look to the specs of the 4890, everything is way higher than the 275gtx, Are you guys on Nvidia side? Ive seen loads of true benchmarks of the ati 4890, and i believe this one is fake.... DONT TAKE THIS LAME BENCHMARK SERIOUSLY.

	The 275 outperforms the 280 and 285, the 285 does just as well as the 4980, therefore it is expected that the 275 is generally faster than the 4980. 	To the poster above, the ATI cards numbers are higher because their parts aren\'t nearly as good as Nvidia\'s so therefore they use more and more. For example AMD (ATI) Phenom 9750 at 2.4ghz cannot even compare to the Intel (Nvidia) Q6600 also at 2.4ghz. Do research buddy.

	Just got a HD4890 OC so im happy, i hope it turns out better than or equal to the 285 gtx. I only went for this card other than the 285 was that the 285 is 400$ were as the 4890 was only 290$
