While many Nvidia fans wait for the famous 40- NM graphic processors, galaxy company decided to release the updated version GeForce GTS 250. This video card is built on base of G92b core, which possesses 128 stream processors and 256- bit memory interface . The Graphic accelerator is equipped with a massive active cooling system, which occupies the adjacent expansion slot . This video accelerator includes GDDR3 memory , total memory capacity is 512MB. This card is supplied with five-phase power diagram , with D -sub and Dual Bios.
The Graphic core works at the clock frequency 738 MHz, the shader frequency is 1836 MHz, and the memory 2200 MHz. The distinctive special feature of this GeForce GTS 250 version from Galaxy, is the use of sufficiently high memory speed . Access time is 0,8 ms, which indicates rich potential for overclock . Thus, without special difficulties, the memory frequency can be increased to 2600 MHz, which by 7% will increase the productivity of this 3d accelerator in applications. | ||
