ASUS was assembled first to present a notebook with 512 GB SSD . However, Toshiba company was faster .

Toshiba released in this case the notebook series dynabook SS RX2 and SS RX2/WAJ, with 512 GB SSD .

512- GB SSD in this notebook model is produced with the application of flash- memory NAND MLC, which can store two bits one cell. The new controller substantially increases the productivity of this memory, whose speed is 230 MB/s during reading and 180 MB/s during writing operations .
