The third in the world ( according to its value ) memory producer , micron technology company, plan to begin to release memory microcircuits, installed in video adapters.
Micron wants to produce memory for video card with GPU NVIDIA and AMD/ATI. Robert Feurle, Vice President on micron marketing , said: "Our 50- nm technology is completely competitive, if we conduct discussion about the energy consumption and productivity". Micron plans to release GDDR3 memory , which will be characterized by the frequency 1600 MHz and above. Micron also plans to release high speed GDDR5 memory . | ||
