Intel company and its partners lay large hopes on new mobile platform CULV, which allows to create thin and light notebook on base of inexpensive processors with TDP level not more than 10 W. This was the dual core Pentium SU2700 (1.3 GHz) with 2 mb cache in the second level and 800 MHz bus.
On this week, we reported that Intel intend to enlarge the assortment of CULV processors with two new models: Celeron 740 (1.3 GHz) and Pentium SU2300 (1.2 GHz). Both processors will have 1 mb cache in the second level and support with 800 MHz bus. TDP Value will not exceed 10 W.
Processors for notebook CULV class will be divided in four conditional subgroups: one and dual core solutions initial level, and also one and dual core productive solutions. Related Products :
