The Radeon HD 5850 will work not only at the lower frequencies than Radeon HD 5870, but also it will be deprived from 160 stream processors, or 8 textures filtering blocks . Both video cards will be officially presented on September 23, and elder two-chip solution, Hemlock, will be presented approximately in a month, in the second-half of October.
Those cards will bring not only the support Of directX 11, but also the new anisotropic filtration algorithms (AF) and full smoothing (AA).
