JAPAN'S MOST influential gaming rag has bestowed its top score on the latest edition of Final Fantasy. Famitsu, which is not known for lavishing praise on too many games, gave Final Fantasy XII a perfect ten.
The new instalment of the all-conquering Fantasy will be one of only six games to ever get the perfect score.
Previous winners have been the classic The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Vagrant Story, Soul Calibur, and the less classic Nintendogs.
FF is also the only title on the PS2 to ever make the grade. Famitsu's reviewers said the game's graphics, scenario design, and game system, gave the somewhat aging Final Fantasy series a "certain freshness". | ||
