the majority of consumers technology HyperMemory are associated exclusively with videocards of series Radeon X300 or Radeon X1300, partners ATI did not shun to use this technology on videocards of higher class of type Radeon X600 SE. Apparently, the question for the support of HyperMemory was more likely determined by a videocard, rather than by any other factors. As soon as the price fell below $100, I think that the support of HyperMemory could be added.
Company GeCube announced two videocards chip Radeon X1600 Pro and support of technology HyperMemory. . The chip is clocked from 500 MHz up to 570 MHz, and the memory is limited to GDDR-2 type 128 mb. But using the HyperMemory technology it is possible to increase volume of memory up to 512 Mb,
The card has two ports DVI with support of function Dual-Link,. Standard HDTV and technology CrossFire are supported.

The second videocard of tis series has other characteristics: the gpu clock is equal 500 MHz, and the memory type GDDR-2 is increased up to 256 Mb. that allows the support up to 512 Mb of memory within the limits of HyperMemory technology if volume of system memory thus not less than 1 ГѓГЎ.
If your plans do not include the use of HyperMemory technology , it is not necessary to look for those two type of card
