Declaring the opening  third factory on manufacture 0.065 microns  processors, company Intel has informed  about  the importance of this technological mark. So, at present Intel lets releases more than 0.065 microns  processors, than 0.09 microns  It will not only allow the reduction in the cost price of processors manufacture  , but also  decrease the power requirement As you already know, in September processors Intel with architecture NetBurst will pass 0.065 microns on stepening D0 which will lower level TDP up to 65 w for one-core processors, and up to 95 w for dual core processors. In conditions of the aggressive price policy that Intel spent  concerning processors with this architecture, the economy of production costs is important for the company. Let's remind, that by the end of this year Intel can stop completely manufacture 0.09 microns  processors, however many models Pentium 4 5x1 and Celeron D 3xx will be delivered from available stocks at least up to the middle of 2007.   Though processors Core 2 Duo too are made on 0.065 microns  technology, their share in the third quarter hardly will exceed 10 % from standard items  finished Intel goods .
