During April last year Intel company presented the first version of Intel anti-Theft technology (Intel AT) technology. This technology was intended for creating hardware and software, which decrease the consequences from the loss of notebook. In short, Intel AT 2.03 disconnects notebook and blocks the unsanctioned access to information ofter it s  loss . Protection can work in combination with  vPro technology, which gives the possibility to the supplier of computer remote update and technical support , for example, remove harmful programs. In this case, if the notebook will be stolen, then it is possible to block through the network. If network will not be active, protection will operate and the notebook will be also blocked. It is important that the technology is realized at the hardware level and its work does not depend on the operating system, presence or absence of net connection, replacement of  system components.
