The release of NVIDIA chipset for the newest Intel processors contains several interesting pages. At least according to NVIDIA this company obtained the right to use QPI bus, but did not release chipset for LGA 1366 platform. Instead of this right on SLI support obtained Intel x58 chipset. Later Intel company stated that the license available for NVIDIA does not allow the company to release chipset for Intel processors with the built-in memory controller . This even became the occasion for a law court. In the opinion of NVIDIA representatives , Intel company did not desire to grant the license to the production of chipset, which use DMI bus. Associates give the new commentaries of NVIDIA representatives - now the company finally left the idea to release chipset with DMI.
