Colfax international company presented the super-computer on base of eight calculations accelerators NVIDIA tesla c1060. Specially, for this computer the company engineers developed a motherboard with eight PCI express x16. Besides 8 graphic accelerators, the super-computer has 2 processors series xeon 5500 and 72/144 Gb storage. Largest supers-computer problem on base of GPU was productivity. Because of the specific GPU character the productivity strongly depends on the performed operations. On the statements of producer, the minimum productivity is 4.99 TFLOPS according to the results IEEE 754-2008 spec for the calculations with double precision and 9.98 TFLOPS for single.  There are two power units with 1200 W power unit .  The recommended application spheres for the system are the financial studies and power engineering. Related Products : | ||
