Associate yesterday published the commentaries of interested parties and independent experts according to the situation around chipset NVIDIA for contemporary Intel processors. Jon peddie, well-known analyst branch , asserts that NVIDIA never openly spoke about the plans with respect to release chipset for Intel processors with DMI support. During February this year Intel gave the action against NVIDIA, in which it communicated that the license agreement of four year old existing between the companies does not allow the latter to release chipset for Intel processors with the built-in memory controller . NVIDIA insisted that it has the right.
This will be examined in the law court in the following year.
If we consider that law court will resolve contradictions between the companies only in the following year, when the memory controllers and graphic core are based in Intel processors , NVIDIA does not have many chances to fill this market niche. NVIDIA representatives are, assured that the companies will succeed in continuing to release and develop chipset for Intel processors, which use the old FSB bus.
Intel Representatives stated that in the license dispute with NVIDIA around the DMI bus, there is no juridical progress observed, but NVIDIA solution to stop the development of separate chipset is based exclusively on the company business needs .
