Intel corporation plans to release new processor atom in third January 2010. In comparison with predecessors, from the new models it is not worthwhile to expect a notable increase in the productivity. Based on the example of atom n450 the operating frequency is 1.66 GHz, the built-in memory controller and graphic component with TDP at the level of 5.5 W. The new platform pine trail, in contrast to previous, will consist of two basic chips, instead of three.  Associate reports that the recommended retail price of devices will start from $249. In this case user will obtain the processor atom n450 with the south bridge NM10, the integrated core, memory from 512 to 1024 MB. Base version will be equipped with the operating system moblin Linux; however,  Windows XP home and Windows 7 can appear later .
