During August this year winbond and Elpida companies will obtain from qimonda a license to the production of GDDR 3 and 5 memory , and Taiwan Winbond will release the appropriate microcircuits on the order of elpida. On this week appeared additional details about the plans with respect to collaboration between Winbond and Elpida. Thus, the first will release in this year GDDR- 3 and GDDR- 5 memories for Elpida. The memorandum about the mutual understanding signed recently implies that Elpida will share with Winbond licenses and technology, and Winbond in exchange will isolate a part of production capacities for the release of memory under elpida trade mark . Last week Elpida company agreed with ProMOS about the release of DDR3 memory for elpida needs , the corresponding production will be presented in the second-half 2010. | ||
