Yesterday we were surprised how rapidly sapphire company presented the overclocked version radeon HD 5970, after supplying with its special utility redline for overclock and voltage control. In the press release , sapphire noted that the utility redline is accessible for free download and works only with video card model radeon HD 5970 OC.
XFX also proposed the utility XFX overVolt with the video card radeon HD 5970 Black edition released yesterday. XFX has two video card radeon HD 5970 with 725/4000 MHz frequencies and standard design, but only the black edition version works with the utility XFX overVolt, which allow it to raise the voltage on the core and memories.  As it is explained, for the rapid release of overclock versions Radeon HD 5970 it is necessary to thanks AMD engineers.  AMD did not artificially limit the overclocking potential Of radeon HD 5970, after selecting for the video card reliable element base and effective cooler with vaporizing chambers, which allow to remove up to 400 W of thermal energy. The programmed voltage regulators volterra allows to improve the overclock results . | Bought this thing a few days ago,
Installed it into my pc downloaded the drivers by following the instructions in the install guide. Reboot.... GPU dead? wtf. waiting for a new 1 now had to RMA it. alot of people got the same problem |
