MSI Company announced the new ultrathin notebook model X -Slim X430. This model is based on ultrathin platform second generation, previously known under the code name AMD congo. In the opinion of producer, this device is capable of creating worthy competition to other products, in which are used Intel CULV processors.

Hardware system is based on the chipset AMD RS780MN + SB710, and dual core processor AMD athlon neo X2 together with the integrated graphic processor ATI mobility radeon HD 3200. Configuration includes up to 2 GB DDR 2-667 and 2,5- inch hard disk with 320 or 500 GB volume.

The prolonged battery life is ensured not only by the low energy consumption level (18 W), but also due to the application of AMD powerNow! and PowerPlay technologies, which regulate clock frequency and processor voltage in dependence of load.

This notebook has a wide-format display with 14 inches diagonal and 1366 X 768 pixel resolution.

The energy-saving function ECO engine allows to select one of five operating modes: Gaming , Movie Presentation Office or Turbo battery .

Furthermore, model is equipped with two USB 2.0, web- camera 1,3 Mp, card reader SD/SDHC/MMC, adapters gigabit ethernet and Wi-Fi standard 802.11b/g/n, and also HDMI and D -Sub. In delivery set can enter external optical drive DVD-RW or Blu-ray (optionally).

The overall sizes of the device are 349 X 234 X 24,5 mm, and its mass is equal to 1,5 kg .
