Following the announcement of ultrathin notebook X -Slim X430 MSI company declared about the future production of one additional model on AMD platform for ultrathin notebook second generation.
MSI wind12 u230 is equipped wide-format (16:9) display with 12,1 inches with light-emitting diode, which has the resolution 1366 X 768 pixels. Overall computer sizes : 297 x 190 x 24-31 mm. The mass of MSI wind12 u230 with 3 cell battery is equal to 1,3 kg (optionally six-cell battery is accessible ). The application of a new platform, light-emitting diode and energy-economy technology MSI ECO engine allows to increase the off-line operation time to four hours.  In spite of compact sizes and low weight, the new device according to the company, exceeds ultrathin notebook on productivity. This is due to the dual core processor and (AMD RS780MN + SB710) with the integrated graphic processor ATI radeon HD3200, which supports DirectX 10 and ensures the hardware acceleration of HD- video decoding. In the computer configuration can enter up to 4 GB DDR2 667/800 MHz (two SO-DIMM) and HDD 160, 250 or 320 GB volume. Furthermore, it is possible to note the presence of three ports USB 2.0, web- cameras 1,3 Mp, devices for work with memory card 4- in -1, adapter ethernet 10/100/1000 Mbit/s, wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth v2.0 EDR (optional).
