In the second quarter 2010 AMD company is intended to present the platform for desktop PC upper segment with the first in the world six-core processor for the desktop systems, the support of directX 11 technologies and ATI eyefinity.  Today appeared the first photographs of MSI 890FX-GD70. This motherboard is based on chipset AMD 890FX, which is made from north bridge RD890 and south bridge SB850. This motherboard will work with AM3, including with six-core AMD thuban mentioned above.  This motherboard use a five-phase power diagram with the application of voltage regulators drMOS.  Besides four slots for DDR3 modules , there are immediately six slots PCI- E x16 for the realization of configurations with several graphic accelerators in crossFireX regime .  The storage system is made by six ports SATA 6 Gbit/s and one port SATA.  NEC Controller ensures the support of two high-speed ports USB 3.0.
