Globalfoundries company recently joined chartered semiconductor on this week and declared about the beginning of production capacity expansion at its factory fab 7, which release microcircuits from 300 mm silicic plates according to the technological standards up to 40 and 45 nm. The clean accomodations area as the result of reconstruction will be increased to 23%, and the monthly production volume of silicic plates will rise from 30 000 to 50 000 pieces. Factory will release microcircuits according to technological standards 40, 45 and 65 nm. In the third quarter, this year chartered obtained almost third of its income from the production of microcircuits with the technological standards not rougher than 65 nm. It is expected that after the production capacities expansion the portion of contemporary technical processes will increase. | ||
