On CES 2010 NVIDIA companies already demonstrated system on base of single video card GF100, which executed the benchmark with directX 11 support. However, this was insufficiently to draw the attention of public to NVIDIA production ; therefore, the company presented the technology 3d Vision surround, which competes with AMD eyefinity.
For the work with 3d Vision surround technology will be required as minimum two video card generation GF100 or GeForce GTX 2xx, and also three displays with 120 Hz frequency or three corresponding projectors. Working in SLI , video cards divide the panoramic picture on the vertical line in three zones, image for the left and right eye is formed separately.
On CES 2010 to journalists was also demonstrated the mainGear production system with three video cards GF100, which works in SLI with the liquid cooling. On the rear pane of each video card, we have two ports DVI and one port HDMI.
