AMD announced the 3d- accelerator for built in systems ATI radeon e4690 mobile PCI express module (MXM). It corresponds to the specification requirements MXM 3.0.

In the configuration of ATI radeon e4690 MXM enters 320 stream processors and 512 MB GDDR3 memory . The memory bus is 128 bits. The maximum core frequencies and memory are 600 and 700 MHz respectively. Module proposes two independent display controllers with the rich selection of ports: DisplayPort (1.1a, 4x), Single-Link (1x) or Dual-Link (1x) LVDS, Single-Link (4x) and Dual-Link (2x) DVI, TMDS, HDMI and analog outputs. The overall sizes of the printed-circuit board are equal to 70 X 82 mm.

According to AMD, the card is the only built in 3d- accelerator, in which are united the technologies Microsoft directX 10.1 and Unified video decoder 2 (hardware decoding Of h.264, VC-1 and MPEG-2). Furthermore, ATI radeon e4690 MXM supports the technology ATI stream.
