Gigabyte company recently released a motherboard on base of chipset Intel x58, oriented to the amateurs of computer games and simply demanding PC users. This motherboard is called GA -X58A-UD3r. From its basic special features, we should note the presence of ports USB and SATA new generation. For increasing the reliability the producer used the technology ultra durable 3. The motherboard standard size ATX supports the processors Intel core i7 LGA1366.  There are six slots for memory modules DDR3. In the equipment enter eight ports SATA 3 Gbit/s, two ports eSATA 3 Gbit/s (controller jMicron JMB362) and two ports SATA 6 Gbit/s (controller marvell 9128). The south bridge support 10 ports USB 2.0, two ports superSpeed USB (USB 3.0) due to the controller from NEC production . Furthermore, the motherboard includes an adapter ethernet 10/100/1000 Mbit/s (Realtek RTL8111D), eight-channel sound codec (Realtek ALC889) and three ports IEEE 1394a (controller TI TSB43AB23).  The presence of four slots PCI express x16 (two of them work in the regime x8) opens the possibility of designing multiprocessor graphic systems (it supports configurations 2 way and 3- way crossFireX and SLI).
