MSI series big bang motherboard is the first in the world product on base of lucid hydra chip, which allow to unite AMD and NVIDIA video card . If the existing pays series big bang is based on chipset Intel p55, then the third model will use chipset Intel x58.
According to the intention of producer, four slots can be used for crossFire X , one slot can be occupied by NVIDIA video card, which accelerates physical effects. The configuration of PCI expresses x16 slots under the high-speed conditions are not refined, but all of them will not be able to work at the full speed simultaneously. SLI support is also provided.

MSI big bang xPower will propose two ports SATA-600 and two ports USB 3.0. Asus company will also release motherboard on base of chipset Intel x58 with the integrated controllers SATA-600 and USB 3.0.

MSI will use a new power system with the use of tantalum capacitors. Voltage Measurement points will be provided on the motherboard. The eight-channel sound solution quantum wave will support Creative EAX 5.0 and THX truStudio PC suite. The announcement of MSI big bang xPower is planned on March this year.
