Hitachi company developed the technology of preheating magnetic plates, which increase writing density five times. In other words, if two-tera-byte models now are the most capacious HDD on the market, then after the introduction of Hitachi technology their volume will increase to 10 Tb.  Hitachi proposes to preheat the section of the magnetic plate before the process of record with the aid of laser. This allows to use a smaller magnetic particle with the perpendicular orientation, proportionally increasing writing density . Disk of such type preserves the stability of properties at room temperature, preheating is required only at the writing moment . Related Products : | ||
