Elder dual core 32 nm processors clarkdale core i 5-670 already reached the frequency 7 GHz, which allowed to set a new world record in SuperPI - benchmark, which strongly depends on the processor performance . The result Of superPI 1M was equal to 5.991 seconds, which was achieved with the processor frequency 7034 MHz.
hicookie improved its achievements, after overclocking the processor core i 5-670 in superPI 1M to the frequency 7098 MHz, which ensured reaching the new world record, equal to 5.944 seconds.  With the overclock to 6732 MHz the engineering model core i 5-670 (3.47 GHz) could execute 32 MB Super Pi in six minutes and seven seconds.  This is a new world record in the category Of superPI 32M.
