New graphic accelerators on base Of cypress were noted today by asus company . The video card, which was called Radeon HD 5870 TOP and Radeon HD 5850 DirectCU, are based on 40- nm graphic core from AMD company . Both accelerators support DirectX 11, they are supplied with 256- bit memory interface and with high-speed GDDR5 chips . The distinctive special feature consists in the presence of a cooling system, developed by asus company .
Although officially the accelerators will be presented on ceBIT exhibition, in the period from 2 to 6 March, even now it is possible to say that HD 5870 TOP and HD 5850 DirectCU will have small factory overclock . In the given photographs is shown Radeon HD 5850 DirectCU, supplied with direct-touch cooler. The technology direct touch, straight contact, consist in copper heat pipes, which have direct contact with the core surface . This increase the effectiveness of the heat transfer system. | ||
