The producer of Marvell chips today demonstrated working model 13- inch netbook on base of armada 500 processor, with the clock frequency 1.5 GHz. Compact computer worked under the operating system ubuntu.
The prototype of the device was developed by quanta company; however, the company representatives noted that the commercial version is located on the completing development stage. The cost of computers on base of armada 500 processor will be located in region $200-$250 which makes such a device outstanding competitors to systems on base of AMD and Intel processors.
