On this week AMD company must present the integrated chipset 890GX with the new south bridge SB850, which ensures the native support of SATA-600 interface. Gigabyte company proved to be in the number of first AMD partners, who proposed motherboard on the base of this microcircuit. It was called GA -890GPA-UD3h.
The built-in graphic core of AMD 890GX chipset supports DirectX 10.1 and it works at the default frequency 700 MHz, but it can be overclocked to 1150 MHz and above. For the needs of graphic system radeon HD 4290 are originally isolated 128 mb DDR- 3 memory. Two slots PCI express x16 ensures the work in regime crossFire according to x8 + x8. It supports hybrid crossFireX .  The presence of the south bridge SB850 allows six ports SATA-600. Gigabyte provided also two ports SATA-300 and one port IDE. There is also four ports USB 2.0 and two ports USB 3.0. GA -890GPA-UD3h is ready to work with the six-core processors phenom II X6 (Thuban), which will be presented in the following block.
