The produced on 32 nm technologies dual core processors arrandale and Clarkdale was officially presented only during January this year, but Intel company already planned their transfer in the new stepping. At least, this is correct with respect for the mobile processors clarkdale. The corresponding information about the transfer of core i 3 -350M processor from stepping C2 in stepping K0 was disseminated last Wednesday.
As reports this official Intel document, the processor core i 3 -350M (2.26 GHz) will be updated to stepping K0 after 30 April this year, until 22 June users will in parallel obtain processors on old stepping C2. Processor marking will be replaced with SLBPK either SLBPL to SLBU5 or SLBU6, and CPUID value will be replaced from 0x20652h to 0x20655h. For the work with K0 stepping processors motherboard will require new Bios version. Related Products :
