G.Skill introduced new memory modules, which according to the developers, are best suited for the new high-performance AMD Ryzen Threadripper processors and the corresponding AMD X399 platform. In total, four sets were presented, and they all added to the line of Flare X, which combines memory, designed specifically for AMD processors.
All the kits are obviously four-channel. The largest and most capacious has a total capacity of 128 GB, and it is typed by eight DDR4 memory modules with a capacity of 16 GB each. These modules are characterized by an operating frequency of 2933 MHz, and their latencies are only CL14-14-14-34. The operating voltage is standard ¬- 1.35 V.
Three other sets have a much smaller volume, but are characterized by higher frequencies. All of them consist of four modules of 8 GB each, which in total gives only 32 GB. The set of DDR4-3200 modules is characterized by latencies CL14-14-14-34, whereas for the modules with frequencies of 3466 and 3600 MHz delays CL16-18-18-38 are characteristic. These modules also operate under a voltage of 1.35 V.
Unfortunately, the cost of new sets of memory modules G.Skill Flare X has not yet been specified. Related Products :
