Zalman company declared about the expansion of 3d- monitors new model ZM-M215W. The model has a screen with  21,5 inch diagonal (54,6 cm) and resolution 1920x1080 pixels  (Full HD).

The monitor zalman is divided on the region with different polarization: for the left and right eye. Different image will be given to these zones.
Putting on glasses, spectator sees an integral picture. Special driver processes the signal, which goes to the monitor in such a way that the picture, which goes to the left eye, would describe the reflected object at a small angle to the left, and for the right eye, on the contrary, to the right. Thus, is reached the volumetric perception of an object.
A difference in the approaches Of Zalman and NVIDIA in the fact that the monitor, compatible with NVIDIA 3d Vision technology, must have the refresh rate frequency 120 Hz in order to ensure for each eye picture with 60 Hz frequency, and in order to divide pictures for the right and the left eye special glasses are used. These glasses are based not on the light polarizing filters as in Zalman, but they are  a complex and more expensive devices. Thus, picture is divided not through the line as in Zalman, but through a sequence.
Zalman Glasses are  simpler, but not less effective is construction.
