EVGA company  at the end of January demonstrated the appropriate motherboard on base of chipset Intel 5520 with two LGA 1366. It was assumed that this motherboard can simultaneously work with two six-core 32 nm processor core i 7 -980X Extreme edition. However,  yesterday Intel company  presented the 32 nm processors series xeon 5600, and EVGA announced the motherboard classified SR -2, which supports the processors series xeon 5600 and Xeon 5500  LGA 1366. SR -2 indicates Super record 2. Functional saturation was only in the form factor HPTX (15 " x 13.6 " or 381 X 345.4 mm). This motherboard can't be placed in all cases. Intel 5520 chipset is coupled with two chips nForce 200, which ensure  SLI support in different combinations. Seven slots PCI express x16 can work according to two diagrams: x16 + x16 + of + x16 or x16 + x8 + x8 + x8 + x8 + x8 + x8. Twelve DIMM slots  support to 48 Gb three-channel  DDR-1333 memory. Eight ports serial ATA work in the regime SATA-600 (2 only), rest is satisfied by  SATA-300 regime. Two eSATA exist on the rear panel. There it is possible to reveal six ports USB 2.0, two ports USB 3.0, two gigabit net ports and traditional audio connectors. This motherboard possesses an imposing arsenal of setting,  which will prove useful with system overclock. The cost Of classified SR -2 is equal to $600, which is completely predicted.
