The quantity of core in magny-Cours processors, oriented for application in the systems with two and four processor socket, twice exceed the produced now AMD opteron processors (Istanbul). Magny-Cours has four-channel built-in DDR3 controllers. In opteron x12 6100 series entered models, which work at frequencies from 1,7 to 2,4 GHz, with 16 and 18 MB cache, ADP 65, 80 or 105 W energy.
