NEC company presented the new liquid-crystal monitor accuSync AS231WM. The Model AS231WM will become fifth green model in the series accuSync after models AS171, AS191, AS191WM and AS221WM. All enumerated monitors obtained the rating EPEAT silver and successfully passed the certification of correspondence to the requirements of specifications ENERGY STAR 5.0 and TCO 5.0.
According to the estimation of producer, AS231WM consumes half energy and contains half less mercury than usual monitors with the same screen size. Furthermore, the application of ECO mode technology allows to rapidly be switched between several energy-saving regimes. Technical specifications of AS231WM:
