Gigabyte company technology last week presented new motherboards on AMD 890FX, 880G and 870 chipset.
New models GA -890FXA-Ud7, GA -880GMA-UD2h and GA -870A-Ud3 are compatible with the six-core processors AMD phenom II X6, they are equipped with ports SATA 6 Gbit/s and USB 3.0, support the technology ATI crossFireX and Hybrid crossFireX. Furthermore, it is possible to note the functions auto unlock (unlocking processors core), On/Off charge (possibility of charging devices iPhone/iPad/iPod touch from apple company ) and the power diagram 3x USB power boost .
The high end model in this series is GA -890FXA-Ud7, is designed in the form factor XL-ATX on base of chipset AMD 890FX (south bridge SB850), support 4- way ATI crossFireX technology. The power system is made according to the diagram 8+2 phases and assuredly is suitable for processors with power to 140 W. Important merit GA -890FXA-Ud7 is the highly effective passive cooling system hybrid silentPipe. Among other special features : the support of memory modules DDR 3-1866 MHz, technology GIGABYTE 333 Onboard acceleration and diagnostic light-emitting diodes.
GIGABYTE GA -880GMA-UD2h is intended for multimedia center. It has the built-in graphic processor ATI radeon HD 4250, which supports API Microsoft directX 10.1. Support to the technology ATI hybrid crossFireX allow if necessary to increase the productivity of graphic system by the addition of discrete 3d- card.
Like other two new motherboards, GA -870A-Ud3 on AMD 870 + SB850 chipset has six ports SATA 6 Gbit/s with the support of RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 configurations, two ports superSpeed USB and four memory modules DDR 3 -1866+ MHz (they support dual-channel configurations).
