During February 2008 NVIDIA purchased AGEIA company , which dealt with the development of software for accelerating physical effects in games and with the production of corresponding processors. The card on base of AGEIA physX chip were released by asus, BFG, ELSA and Dell. companies . One of physical accelerator owners on base of AGEIA physX chip obtained letter from NVIDIA technical support service , in which  it openly discussed the lack of support for the corresponding device at the drivers level, beginning from the series 9.xx.xx. Desiring to use their physical accelerators users must be satisfied by the drivers series 8.xx.xx. At present NVIDIA examines the possibility of separate driver production for AGEIA physX card.
